We couldn’t be happier with our German Shorthaired Pointer, Gus. He’s an outstanding hunter with incredible drive, strong natural pointing instincts, and retrieves like a Labrador. He absolutely loves the water and never passes up a chance to get after it in the field.
Beyond his hunting ability, Gus is a wonderful house dog with a great personality. He keeps us on our toes with his mischievous side, but that just adds to his charm. It’s clear he came from a quality breeding program, and we would highly recommend Idaho Hunting Dogs to anyone looking for a versatile, high-performing companion.
